I adored this book. It was one of the first books I read when I was getting back into Young Adult. Science Fiction isn’t one of my go to genres but this book looked interesting, and I’m so glad I took the plunge.
It was such a brilliant, thought provoking book. The characters and plot were unique, and I can’t wait to continue the rest of the series. Marissa Meyer’s writing is stunning – I couldn’t stop reading.
I would recommend this series to everyone, even if you don’t usually read YA fiction. Cinder is an intoxicating and beautiful read.
I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars, because it was simply brilliant. I recommend you all stop what you’re doing and go read it now!
‘Marissa Meyer is the #1 New York Times-bestselling author of Heartless and The Lunar Chronicles. She lives in Tacoma, Washington, with her husband and twin daughters. She’s a fan of most things geeky (Sailor Moon, Firefly, any occasion that requires a costume), and has been in love with fairy tales since she was a child. She may or may not be a cyborg.’
Have you read Cinder? If so – what did you think about it? If not – do you plan on reading it?
